Yael stone, a native of New York City-based Australian resident, was the character Lorna the character of Morello Orange Is the New Black in 2013. Yael Stone was a graduate of NIDA. From a young age, Yael has been lucky to have worked with some of Australia's premiere storytellers, luminaries of the stage and visionaries behind the scenes in film TV, theatre, and film. Yael has had a long and successful career in Australia. A continuing collaboration with Australia's much-lauded director Neil Armfield culminated in the internationally-renowned production Diary of a Madman, in which she starred opposite Academy- Emmy- and Tony Award-winning actor Geoffrey Rush. Yael decided to make New York City her home in the wake of the Brooklyn Academy of Music produced this critically-acclaimed show. Yael has been a co-founder of The Cannery. From an Bushwick, Brooklyn studio, The Cannery is a place to promote new creativity, creative writing and innovative projects and assists in the growth of writers in their teens.
